Ok I saw on Xbins that unleashx (the person) made a program for v.39 that lets you put a black hard drive into the xbox and it will prepare/format it for you without the computer, but he says you need a boot disc. What files do I need to download and burn to make this boot, and is that all there is to the process. Just put it in and go?
never heard of that but the auto installer deluxe 3 has config magic on it which lets u prepare and add a new hd to the xbox....
ToCool4u-- Yeah I got a 160GB Maxtor, right now its a $90 paperweight though lol Therides-- Yeah go to Xbins and under the UnleashX file there is a movie you can download of the dude doing it, its really cool, I just dont know how to do it lol
ok from what i seen on the video and read on the read me file it only works if u have a modchip becuz you put the C drive on a cd-r and thats what it copies off of......without a modchip u couldnt boot that cd-r....
