i put the code that was very kindly provided and when i hit the last pound it does nothing. just sits there like it is waiting for me to press something else. Before and after trying the code i get the same message, no network found. It is a China phone i am trying to use with Cingular here in the US and it does not tell me "sim restriction or anything, never has, just says no network if i try to dial. Any Ideas? Thanks Mochsa
Now we have a better story. If the phone is from China which runs on GSM 900 MHz, the chances of it working in the USA are slim. Cingular runs on GSM 1900 MHz so I really wouldn't think you'll have much luck with it here in the US.
