    I got this phone with an AT&T contract - i just switched to cingular with a new phone but would still like to use my 6820 sometimes. I get a "phone restricted" error when I put in the cingular SIM in the 6820.

    I'm not sure what that is but I need the 15 digit IMEI# and you can get the real one by pressing *#06#

    Your provider may be Cingular but the phone appears to be locked to AT&T original.
