It helps us to know the message given after entering the code.

 

There was no message. After i checked the code and then pressed the hash key to confirm the screen remained showing the code that i entered.

 

Ok, insert a non accepted sim, press the UNDO option and then enter the code in the restriction box and press OK, this should work for you.
