If it's not tooo much of an imposition SalMal,is there any chance you would supply an unlock code for his too please?

What was the message after you inserted the code?

 

There was a big, red STOP sign and I now can't remember the exact msg. Daren't try again as that will be the third attempt..........does this mean I'm stumped now?

 

Turned it on. the phone displays :
phone restricted enter restriction code....

there is a box to enter numbers. Enter code...

This is the last code i have all the codes i gave you are correct
sometimes service providers chenge codes.

Try code ONCE and ONCE only.
Remember, you only get 3 to 5 tries.
If you enter the same code two times,
that is two tries.

Make sure battery is charged.
Remove SIM first.
Power on.
Ignore “Insert SIM”
Press the # key.
then press the "star" key (*) quickly to get the P and W and +
Press * 3 times quickly for (p)
Press * 4 times quickly for (w)
Press * 2 times quickly for (+)
and the rest of the code---
Begin with # and end with #.

Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only have about two seconds.

Look for a message.

"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code. STOP tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked.
Used up all your free tries!!

You have to take the phone to a shop / Pro to be unlocked directly.

sometimes you get the invalid message but codes do work.

 

I've had this phone since I was in Iraq and now that I am back in the U.S. I want to use it again. However, I need to unlock it. Can anyone help?
