I have a cingular 6230 IME 353372002838619 I thought it was unlocked, but don't know how to check it. If you could give me some help.....also, if it's not unlocked what is the unlock code?

I got a nokia 6230 RH12 phone and nomatter how i try to input the *pw+***+1# code nothing happens... And on the phone restricted screen i tried 4 times already from completly dirrfent providers and got only one left... help please someone...!
