hi i have a directv reciever and i changed the password and when i went to put in the password it didnt work. im wondering if i accidentally push a button that i didnt mean to. so my question is, can i unlock my directv reciever without the password somehow?
Try to unplug it for a few hours. If that does not work, you will have to do a Hard boot to reset it. It usually means to press several buttons on the front at the same time. Try to call the company's tech support or web page who makes it for exact instructions.
