I am trying to find unlock code for my Nokia 2600

    IMEI 357619005581661

Those nice folks at Vodafone UK have locked it and I cannot use it here in Cyprus even though the local mobile operator Cytanet is owned by Vodafone. :(

    Thanks.

    ( ) Remove sim first.

    Your code:Try this [bold]once and once only.[/bold]

    #pw+948342165540130+1#

    To enter code:
    Make sure battery is charged.
    Power on.
    Ignore “Insert SIM”

    Press the # key.
then press the "star" key (*) quickly to get the P and W and +
    Press * 3 times quickly for (p) \
Press * 4 times quickly for (w) IMPORTANT
    Press * 2 times quickly for (+) /
and the rest of the code---
Begin with # and end with #.

    IMPORTANT!!
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only have about two seconds.

    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code. [bold]STOP[/bold] tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked.
Used up all your free tries!!

Thanks JG. That did it. Why are Vodafone so up themselves that I cannot take my phone from one EU country to another even when I keep the same service provider?

    Thanks again
