unlock for nokia 6230

    Its an O2 phone, which has been blocked by my O2 service provider around 2 years ago and left in the cupboard, i thought i lost it.

    now i need it as a spare, everything comes on find just saying "Sim Registration Failed"

    anyway of fixing this with a code or anything?

    sim card registration failed means that the sim is expired with time.

    I assume the phone is an 02 and you are in UK?
    If so the Sim card is dead and you need to unlock the phone to be used with another sim.
