Unlock IMEI# for a motorola L2 (V270)

    I am new to this.. I do not know how to do this... I do not know how to find the IMEI #... any help unlocking this phone for my daughter in el salvador would be greatly appreciated !! it is a Cingular phone... I need step by step directions how to do it... I can push the buttons and read, that much I can do, the technical stuff I get lost on !!! thanks for the help....
