    this phone is driving me crazy. I tried to use but it's showing contact your service provider. What is the best way to unlock it.
    My EMEI #: 354442002994115
    I bought it in the US and it used to work with T-Mobile.
    Thank you

    Thanks for the code but How can I enter it. The phone is always saying displaying Contact Service Provider. Is there a way to avoid it?
    Thank you.

    OK, I found out how to enter the subsidy code by leaving the phone powered on for 2 hours (read this for more details http://www.gsm-unlock.com/unlock/unlock-motorola.html. However the code that you provided me with didn't work. Do you have another code for that phone? Please keep in mind that I checked my IMEI and it's correct.
    Thank you;

    I see, What if my phone doesn't have a Sim card? Does it still need to be unlocked?

    If your happy with your service provider there is no reason to unlock your mobile.

    Members only want to unlock there mobile so they can use a different carrier.

    It also adds to the value of a mobile when it's sim free.

    I do not know how to unlock Motorola phones just Nokia's so I do not know if having the sim matters or not, sorry.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

    How'd you know my phone was a motorola? So you mean you can buy a phone on Verizon for example, then unlock it and move to another company while the contract is on still?

    As you asked the question in the Motorola forum, it was only logic, that you might of had a Motorola.

    Yes :)
