has come up on screen as not allowed, i double checked that i had the numbers right, and no sim in, i think my lad took it to a street vendor to have it unlocked but the guy looked at it and said he couldnt do it. do i need a cable unlock job done on it and how can i do that ?? thanks for the help anyway
hey sorry to hear that it didnt work ok your phone is now hard locked yes that means that no codes can work anymore only an unlocking cable can help u u should have told me that u took it to someone and they couldnt do it it seems as though they tried and they didnt get it to unlock.. usually a phone has about 3-5 tires to unlock it it seems as though the guy used up most of ur free tries... ok your phone can be unlocked via an unlocking cable however all u have to do is just search the net for it google it and you'll get it unlocking cables are supposed to be cheap for this phone alternatively u can go to your mobile provider and request that they unlock it for you after al it is your phone u did pay full price didnt you so u should have the right to use it however u choose with whichever network u choose also they cant charge you cause it's their fault they locked something that wasnt theirs. in case u were wondering yes there is a data cable for this phone the model is CA-45....look for it on nokia website and you'll get it as for the unlocking cable if u choose to do it yourself just google wat u are loking for and you'll find it.. good luck skylinegt
