unlock nokia 2600

    Does anyone know if it is possible to unlock a nokia 2600 that i bought in Thailand. It is serviced by DTAC in Thailand, meaning that is the provider that i bought the SIM card from, and who I buy the cards for credits.
    I am now in the USA, and wish to use Cingular, or T-Mobile as the carrier.
    CAN ANYONE HELP???

    Is it a pre-paid phone with a timetank?

    Yes it is a pre-paid telefone. every time my time xpires i just go and buy a card with more minutes.

    My last question is;
    After I unlock it, can i still use it when i go back to Thailand? or will it only work now here in the USA?

    Your 2600 is most likely a dual-band phone and will not work with the 850/1900 MHz used in the US.
