Hi, i would like to have my phone unlocked thanks. Nokia: 6030 IMEI: 357060009261515 Network: Virgin Country: Australia
Ok thanks for the reply. I found this site http://www.unlockitfree.com/index.php that gave me codes for my model. Do you think they would be safe to use?
I swear I don't have the slightest clue. I myself would not trust it but if you do decide to use it, please let us know if it works. Most likely you only have 3 chances with your phone from that country. Be careful and enter correctly. I would be more than happy to give you some codes to try but I have attempted this model from there about 10 times and none of us have been able to get one unlocked. I would rather tell someone I can't do it instead of giving them something that gets them closer to being hardlocked. I don't like to be any part of hardlocking someones phone. If you happen to come across a code that works, please send me the code in a private message. I'll know what to do with it from there. It would greatly be appreciated.
I just noticed on that site that they say: [bold]We have currently unlocked over 200 and counting.[/bold] I couldn't trust that at all. I have been at this for 3 years and do 200 phones in just a few days or less. I would keep searching for something better. If you could get the code from your provider, that would be wonderful. If you are able to do this, please send the code provided by them and then we can start unlocking them.
Thats the problem though, i bought the phone off my brother who is overseas and he tried getting them to unlock it but they were just stuffing him around and thats why i starting googling for the unlock codes and found this site. But if i do eventually find a working unlock code or get it off virgin i will let you know. Thanks for the help man, really appreciate it. P.S. Personally i think it is bullshit that they can lock a phone to a particular sim card when my brother payed for the phone over 6 months ago, which in my mind means that he owns the phone and should have the freedom to use whatever sim card he (or i) wanted. Anyway thats just my opinion. Thanks once again NoLimit.
it unlocked my 1110 from Optus =) Looks like they use The Optus Network Code for the Virgin Network. Is that correct? I'll contact them and about that.. It looks pretty legit. They said they don't store the IMEI. Plus nothing bad has happended to my phone.. I dunno, give it a go and see if it's successful.
i ended up trying #pw+247625161633765+1# and #pw+343916161226452+7# from that site and both gave 'code error'. oh well
