    Can anyone help me to unlock:

    call the original network operator for the unlock code.
    if that doesnt work, you're in the same boat as me...

    what do you mean "the same boat"? I am using nokia 6288 with 3G in Australia, and they sent me a unlock code, I tried to unlock it twice under the instruction from custom service, but did not work. Then they asked me to replace the phone with another one. So it seems that they have issues in the 6288 unlock.
