1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

What sim are you trying to use?

 

Orange and an O2 one. on the O2 it displays the logo, on the Orange I get nowt.

 

Is the Orange sim new?
Has it been registered?
Does the Orange sim work in another phone?

 

Ah, Just tried the sim in my w810i and it says inactive. Should the o2 sim work it in aswell now its unlocked...

 

The only network that will not work is 3, because the 6230 is not a 3G phone.

 

Is there any reason why I shouldnt be getting signal apart from something being wrong with the phone its self?

 

The mobile is fine, it all comes down to coverage.

Do you get a signal with the O2 sim in a different phone?

 

Yeh, full bar in my w810i. and nothing in the Nokia

 

That is very odd

Walk into other parts of the house / Garden and see if you recieve a signal at all.
