A network restriction code is what I or someone else will give you to make your mobile sim free.....meaning you can put any network simcard in your mobile and it will work.
Thanks Pazzini i have two phones, details below Make/model phone: both Nokia 6310i IMEI #: 351549/00/939479/3 and 351549/00/937566/9 Country the phone is locked in: UK Provider the phone is locked to: Orange
[bold]Only try the code once and once only!!![/bold] Please remember you only get 3-5 attempts before your mobile becomes hardlocked. If you have already tried different codes before mine your mobile could already be hardlocked. If it is hardlocked you will get one the following messages Can Not Undo Restriction / Not Allowed If you mobile is hardlocked the only way to unlock it is by taking/sending it to a professional unlocker. Please make sure the information you give is correct before typing in the code. Here is your code: #pw+344066776212764+5# [bold]If the mobile gives no response/no message then do the following:[/bold] Insert a non accepted sim, press the undo button, a box should appear saying enter restriction code, enter the code given and press ok Remove sim first, power on the phone. After the phone boots up, press # Press * 3 times fast for (p) Press * 4 times fast for (w) Press * 2 times fast for (+) Verify code before pressing the last #. "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked! For IMEI 351549009375669 use this code #pw+143304271105300+7#
Fantastic! Thanks for your help, it worked a treat first time. I thought I had already unlocked it but that was obviously not the case.
Aaaaarghh! Not sure if you can help on this but the phone is saying SIM card registration failed. I want to use a Cellnet PAYG SIM that was in an old clunky phone because it doesn't need a minimum monthly top up....But i have a feeling that Cellnet have locked the SIM to the phone. Will give Cellnet a call and see what they say. Thanks =Mahesh
Hi, it is activated and works fine in the old (clunky) phone. I've had a quick search around and found that other Cellnet users have had the same problem when they upgrade their phone. I will post a reply here if I get anywhere with Cellnet in case anyone else finds themselves in a similar situation.
Thanks, I will look forward to your solution, if you find one!!! As it will help me to help others for the future, thanks again
