I softmodded my xbox about 2 weeks ago, first time its ever been done for me. and everythings been working fine until i was messing with slayers and got greedy and told it to unlock my hard drive(not knowing what i was doing of course). now every time i turn it on the error screen comes up. I get error code 05. is there any way to fix this? i hope!
There is a way if you have another modded xbox with modchip. Then plus your hdd in that xbox. It will boot your hdd, so ftp your eeprom to pc, for the hdd key you need to run Config magic, It will tell you.
WOW I fixed it!!!!!!!!!! I plugged my xbox hdd to my pc, booted up xboxhdm, used xbrowser to find my backup file, then rebooted and chose #4 which is boot from dos(i dunno linux very well) and used the dos locking program, put in the hddkey and it fuckin worked!!!! my xbox is back to normal!!!!!!!!!!! i doubted that it would work but it did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
