unlocking a 6010 without knowing the provider

    The IMEI is 010700006393832
    The phone is locked in the US
    I don't know the provider it is locked to though. A friend lent me this phone, and I will have to wait until I can reach her to find this out. Is there any way of getting the code right away, without knowing the provider? I vaguely remember her mentioning Sprint, but I'm not sure. She goes back and forth between Boston and NYC, not sure that is helpful at all.

    Hmmm ok I am getting no reception though, it says "outdoors". I'm currrently in Bangladesh. Can I do anything about this (other than leave Bangladesh)?
