UNLOCKING A HD USING MODDED XBOX?

    How do you unlock a locked hard drive using a modded xbox-does the locked drive have to be connected via the ide cable in place of the dvd drive and use a power cable splitter-any help would be grateful

    cant you just use the evox dashboard to unlock it once its installed????

    I believe evox can do it straight from the dashboard now. You dont need to change any cables to do this. if your dashboard doesnt have the option to do this then get the program called configMagic. it can do it for you.

    johnbath, what dashboard/version do you have installed, evolution x is the one i use and has the option to unlock the hard drive from an option on the boot screen.
