Would anyone be able to help me unlock a Nokia 6010 phone. It's locked to Rogers (Canada). I would like to use it in the UK.

    IMEI # - 010418/00/566568/4

Not sure if there's any other info anyone needs. If so, just ask!!

    Cheers
    Glen

Did you check with IMEI: *#06# ,Firmware Version: *#0000# .

    Nokia:6010
    IMEI:010418005665684
    Network:Rogers
    Country:Canada

    [bold]Is this correct?[/bold]

If you know the risks, try this [bold]ONCE and ONLY ONCE[/bold] and let us know if it works. You have only 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable thing-a-me-jiggy to unlock it. It should still work on your Network so no big loss.

    #pw+928322550655323+7#

Remove sim first, power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
    Press * 3 times fast for (p) \
Press * 4 times fast for (w) IMPORTANT
    Press * 2 times fast for (+) /
and the rest of the code---

    [bold]IMPORTANT!![/bold]
Verify code before pressing the last #.

Note: Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim, you will see "phone restricted", press UNDO option and enter the code in the restriction box and press enter.)

    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
    "Error code" wrong code.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked. Used up all your free tries!!

DO let us know if this works.
Help us provide a better service.

    JG,

It unlocked the phone, 1st time. Cheers. But it still doesn't pick up a network signal with my UK SIM Card. I'm guessing the phone isn't tri/dual-band?

    Would that explain it?

    Cheers

I do believe it is Dual band.
If this is so and it is from Rogers, I believe it is 850/1900 and will not work in Europe.
    Sorry.
