    Hello

I also really need to unlock my Nokia 6020b that I got from Canada - Fido.

    *NOKIA 6020b

    Fido.

I have already tried several codes like, 0000, 12345, etc...

I will be using the phone in Turkey.

Thank you SO MUCH in advance.

    chaoticp,

    Go to this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/364796
and there you will find the answer to unlock your Fido 6020b phone.

However, the phone will allow you five tries and then it is hardlock that you'll need to get to the shop to unlock using cable and the box.

    Good luck.

    syabus,

i think it worked for me!!! it just doesnt recognize my service provider yet, i'll try to get that fixed tomorrow.

first it asked for a restriction code, i entered the first one they provide on the link, and then it said "code accepted", and then the phone turned off by itself. and then i turned it on again, asked for the restriction code, i entered the second code they give, and then it turned on! but it doesn't recognize my service provider yet. my old service provider in canada was fido, and here in turkey i turned on the fido on that same phone, and it automatically recognized a different service provider named avea in turkey, and right now, under the networks listend on the phone with my own turkish sim card, it recognizes avea.

... i think it worked, i'll go to my service provider tomorrow and see whether they can make my phone recognize it.

other than that, i have full access to my messages, my address book, and things like that.

    so thank you very much!

ps: i had tried many other codes for my cell phone, more than 5, didn't know i had only 5 tries.

...i think that website works, but i have to first make sure that my phone recognizes my current service provider.
