Unlocking Nokia 1100

Skylinegt - The carrier was MobileWorld, which is a pre-paid service from Carphone Warehouse. I looked at the booklet that came with my SIM card and it didn't list MobileWorld as affiliated with any of those other service providers. Any ideas?

Mccrash - The code didn't work, unfortunately. I got a "code error" message. Thanks for the help though, and I'd appreciate any other ideas you might have.

 

Try other sim,possible already unlocked.
And how many codes have you tried?

 

I only tried your code; I haven't tried any others. Is it correct that I get 5 attempts to unlock it?

Also, do I enter the code when the old SIM card is in the phone or out? I don't have a new SIM card yet because I'll be buying it in another country.

You have 3-5,sometimes only 3.
And is your phone locked to-UK-MobileWorld?
You can try with or without sim.

 

I'm not certain, but I think the phone is probably locked to UK Mobile World because I got the phone at Carphone Warehouse the same time I got the SIM card.
