Ever since DVDFAB released their version 5.0.7.2 I've been having problems with the dvds that I burn. And it's been happening with all its versions up to the latest one 5.0.9.0. They are not readable, not by my dvd player, nor my pc. I keep going back to version 5.0.6.0 and that one works great. I'm thinking that it has something to do with their VSO burning engine. Has this been happening to anyone?

I use the latest dvdfab as the following

    1) rip to HDD
    2) process files with vob blanker
    3) transcode with dvd shrink (otput as image/iso file on HDD)
    4) burn resultant iso file with imgburn

    rock solid solution

I have dvdfab plat and the vso burning engine, but never use it as vob blanker allows me to edit my project

What does this have to do with Nero? :p You could always update to the latest DVDFab to do your ripping and then use ImgBurn to burn.

I know it has nothing to do with Nero but 1bonehead gave me a good piece of advice. Thanks a lot. And you're right, I can rip with dvdfab and burn with imgburn I just wonder why I can't use the latest versions of dvdfab to burn...

Are you using the free HD version or the paid for gold/plat versions ?

I'm using the full version of dvdfab platinum 5.0.9.0 and its own burning engine (VSO). And I've tried all versions after 5.0.6.0 and they all seem to have the same issue. Any ideas???

Sometimes the crew at fab get an uncured bug in for a couple of versions

Then why is it in the nero forum :p

The reason I suggested ImgBurn is I thought I read around here the VSO burning engine, is crap.
