Unusual Problem!

A friend of mine recently began using clone and anydvd and the programs work fine for him. The problem is that when he inserts a burned dvd into his dvd-rw drive his computer automatically restarts and continues to restart untill the dvd is removed. Original dvds work fine only burnt ones cause this problem. I don't know any specs of his pc, I just wanted know if anyone has heard of this and/or knows how to fix it? I can find out specs on his pc, but I thought I would ask first. I know he has Windows XP.

 

uninstall anydvd, then reinstall!

does this happen when a dvd is put in or only when anydvd is running?

try reinstalling the drivers, but first check the ide cables (ata) along with the molex 4 pin power connection, make sure there in nice and tight
