hi i was taking in by cork chorus with there new deal they are still advertising at the moment . i went with the fibre ultimate pack .i have it since january 2010 .i to had 4 of them boxs but as every one by now knows that they are gone ,so i went with chorus the deals were good and i thought i was on for a good thing my pack included digital max+hd 15 mb broadband and home phone all for 95 got a second box for 5 all in for 100 a month a good deal .just got my bill for march total 144.20 rang customer sopport they said my bill is right .now that is nothing to do with phone calls .they said that they get back to me tomorrow just want to know have anyone out there with the same problem with them .just to let everyone to be carfully and what ever DEAL you get from them make sure you get it on paper
What on earth are you talking about...if you get an all in deal as you call it, do you think you can use your phone as much as you like and not increase the bill ? and another thing your giving a lot of information out there... like your name and your bill details.. and 4 boxes ... 2+2 = trouble.
hi mate never mind the phone i see what you are saying there i am not on about the phone calls that the less of my worries the pack i went with was 95 now all of a sudden it works out at 144 it just dont add up and your right about the info thanks
Ok so you got your bill for march @144 , is this your first bill? if not how does it differ from the last ?
no this is my 3rd bill first one included the two boxs and set up thats ok 2nd one was 88 only because i got the sports free for the first 2 months part of the deal go to the upc website and have a look it might make my point a bit clearer for you
so you have the pack that includes all national, local and international calls free? but that dont include mobiles. Does it state that the price is inclusive of vat? so the 100 euros is for your phone, bband and TV and extra box inclusive of vat? the vat on 100 would bring it to about 121.00 euros, so if you have any mobile calls on your bill that may bring it up to 144. Are you being charged for chans extra? sports etc etc,
no big mobile call on that my bill states subscriptions at 113. ex vat with vat is it works out at 137 phone usage with vat 10 saving and discount of 3 i just think that is sounds very expensive when the are advertising it for 95 i know i have an extra box which they say its only 5 put that works out at 8.49 sports are part of the pack

ken chorus dont switch off the free sports/movies after the 2 months you have to ring them and say you dont want them ,if not they leave it on and charge you .sky do it also ,you have to ring them . the second box at €5 is that correct (maybe it was only €5 for the first 2 months)if they dont ring back you ring them and get them to go through your bill with you .
thanks piopat but sports are part of the package its free for the first 2 months so you only 70 for the first 2 months and 95 there after as fair as the second box it say nothing about that on there site on a different matter can any one tell me can the sv4 usb be coverted to free to air thanks

Don't buy SVU6 for cho*us yet as there's no server set up I'm sure it will need different firmware for 6875 server. Keep an eye on SVU6 threads as there have been one or two hic-cups.
