Update #2 for 3.52 M33 ...asking for little assistance

Okay im gona go straight to the point

I'm trying to update the 3.52 firmware..trying to get the second update on there but the directions are confusing and I have no clue what to do.

here are the instructions for the update:
"Instructions: copy seplugins to the root of the memory stick. Extract the following prx of a firmware: /kd/popsman.prx, /kd/pops.prx, /vsh/modules/libpspvmc.prx and /vsh/modules/pafmini.prx and copy them to /seplugins/popsloader/ with names like popsman3XX, pops3XX.prx, libpspvmc3XX.prx, pafmini3XX.prx, where XX is 40, 51, or 52"

I got as far as the bold part..After that I don't know what to do anyone help?

 

I agree, at first. I would like to know in better detail what that means, because I, for one, will not take the slightest chance of screwing up my gold Japanese PSP lol. I understand the Russian team is doing their best, and I'm grateful, but can we get some detailed instructions on how to correctly update to 3.52 M33-2? Specifically the extractions part, please?

I'm sure it's simple enough or perhaps too simple, but I don't take a risk without knowing exactly what to do.

I finally figured out how to do the update number 2 and what I had to do is not even close to what they tell u to do lol. The spplugins folder goes into the root of the memory stick and the other one goes into the game150 folder. After u run the thing in the game 150 folder it should give u these two files which u hav eto put somehwre but I forget already. I just looked up all over different sites on how to do it cuz these instructions they give u are so crap.

 

you have the wrong end of the stick...

those instructions are for getting pops to work from older FW (3.40 etc), you do NOT NEED to do that to updtae to 3.52 M33-2.

simply copy the EBOOT.PBP from the update zip to the following and run it:

ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33Update/EBOOT.PBP

i very much doubt that you will need the special pops options that those instuctions refer to, they only fix a few non-working games on pops 3.52.
