    Greetings all,
    I have Nero v7.10.1.0
nero v9.7.xxx was initially installed on a fresh new computer in May.
I was under impression that the 7.10.1.0 is the last in 7 series.
Today I checked "Update" from nero GUI.
It said - "update available" I was surprised but proceeded.
The picture showed that beautiful ad of "Upgrade to 8... buy now!...discount - huge!..."
The download itself was very slow.
So I decided to stop it and do as I usually do: download full pack from the site and do clean reinstall.
On the site I found the same v7.10.1.0 installation I already have here (MD5 checked)
So what was that update s...l...o...w l y coming in?
Was it a trial of #8?? or I am eligible for getting 8 as an update?? .... kinda doubtful...

Thanks in advance for any information
    My regards

If you wish to upgrade to Nero 8 then it's going to cost you, I would stick with Nero 7 and keep using the version you already have 7.10.1.0

    Hi gwendolin,
    Thanks for quick reply.
No, I don't have such wish yet :) especially taking in account some negative reviews of #8
At the same time the Question remains: What was that?
It says Udate! and I did not press any other buttons except <<Update Now>>
If I say that I am "Just Curious..." it would be not entirely true, because I suspect that it is something wrong with update so probably myself, and I, and others may screw up existing installation.
    Cheers
