have recently bought a pioneer dvr-107d dvd burner, and its working great... i was reading up about some single layer dvdrw drives that can be upgraded to double layer burners, via the firmware... i was wandering if anyone knows whether or not it is possible to upgrade my single layer pioneer dvr-107d to a double layer burner via any firmware??? thanks alot
Your drive can not be upgrade to double layer right now. I own this driver, which I think is great. I have looked all over and every where it says the same, that this driver will not be able to upgrade. Maybe in the future a hacked firmware will work, but at this time, no.
