updated firmware

after last code change my mate had enough so asked me to uptate his box. this seemed to work ok showed as latest f/w in system information however codes changed again today and box did not update had to change codes manually again. any ideas as to what i have done wrong cheers.

 

You need to supply more info in order for anyone to be able to help you.

What firmware was on the Box?
What did you upgrade it to.
Is it a genuine or cloned box.
What box is it?
Is KEY EMU turned on?

 

not 100% certain of original f/w but it is a starview box not a clone and new f/w is 400 box works perfectly when codes input manually and yes emu is turned on, thanks for any further help

 

Press the default key and put it on Sly sports 1 to update. Sometimes just needs a kick start

 

sorry to sound thick but what do you mean by default key.

 

Press menu, type 1570 on remote and you will see it on that screen. Also check that your key emu is enabled on that page.
