well sorry, big dnas lists are ntsc pal and jap... and pal and jap are reletively harder to obtain on titles that aren't as popular.

Thanks a lot for the new ID of MGS subsistance!
But I had 2 DNAS Errors while using different method to insert the disc ID in the iso:
-First I got 402 meaning Invalid disc, by extracting the DNAS300.IMG file, patching it with disc id inserter, and reinjecting in the iso with Winimage
-Then as I kept the modified iso after burning it, I checked it with windip, and weirdly it did not found the ID I put in the 1st time. So I put another ID in the range of XX XX 01 30 BC with windip, and patched the iso. And with the burned dvd, I got 880 meaning hardware incompatibility... Could somebody tell me how to solve this please ?

hey both those Code for big red one and the winning 9 are already on the list. thanks. and also on the new metal gear. are the DN@S files on the first iso or the second? people were asking about it, and maybe you extracted the iso wrong? not sure. that's as much as i can help for now until i look in on it.

@lxfactor, if you are talking about the DVD 1 and 2 of MGS subsistence, as the online mode is in the DVD2, it's from there that I extracted well the file DNAS300.IMG and patched it. But maybe the 880 error I'm getting comes from a wrong console and Ilink US NTSC IDs I had to put into my ps2 as it's formerly a PAL.

Negative, I'm aware this is the NTSC list, and the MGS I patched is NTSC too.

@jpnn80 If your console/ilink ID has been used too much, it may have been banned permanently. Can you get online with any other games?

@LiARLiAR Use Windip. If that fails, try WinImage or Disc ID Insertor.

    20. Q. What are DNA's?
    A. Any game made after 2003 for the PS2 that is online playable contains one or more image files that has a "disk
DNA checker." The online game server checks your game disk to see if it's the real thing or not. Thus, you have to discover which .img file on the game disc has the checker file.

    21. Q. How do I patch DNA's?
    A. http://www.ps2nfo.com/on-line.html
    With Windip (recommended): http://forums.psxforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=117528

    22. Q. Where can I find DNA ID's?

Thanks, actually I got it to work too, because I realized when I changed my Ids, I confused one digit and forgot another one! And I kept my unique ps2 digits which passed the DNAS check, by reading a very knowledgeable explanation from SKSApps author here, on which some digits are the only ones concerning NTSC/PAL region ID:

Hey, so I patched a game for the first time. Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence. I replaced the first two pairs of XX's with stuff between 0-9 and A-F, and then the last three pairs with 00 30 BC like I was supposed to. So I think I did that all right. I burnt the game and it loaded fine and everything. But when I select the online mode the screen goes black and I get the red "Please insert a Playstation 2 format disc" screen. Why did thhis happen? The same thing happens when I try to play Jin's Devil mode on a burnt copy of Tekken.

Is it because I patched it wrong, or Swap Magic doesn't work? I use Swap Magic USA build version 2.0

    Thanks

It could be a media issue, what's the Media ID of the discs you're using?

    91. Q. What is the Media ID of a DVD and how can I find it?
A.The Media ID of a DVD is the true measure of it's quality. It contains prerecorded info about the disc's manufacturer. The quality of the disc will vary depending on the media code. The media code isn't visible on the disc or the packaging. To check the media ID, Open DVD Decrypter, insert your disc, and check what it says under Media ID or Manufacturer ID. You can also use a program called DVD Identifier which is very useful. You can find it here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd_identifier.cfm
Compare the Media ID to this link: http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

    From PS2nfo's DNA Errors Guide: -612 NET_DNS_TRY_AGAIN
The DNS resolver cannot be found. "DNAS Error (-612) A network error has occurred." Please double-check your network connection and/or network configuration.

@ TrieuDL I already asked you what the Media ID of those discs are. Reread my post and post the info.
