Updated Ubuntu not running on my PS3

    so i updated the latest Ubuntu on my PS3 and now when i try and access it, i get a black screen...i know the PS3 is trying to boot but nothing happens.

    is there a way to re-install this by overwriting the previous os? will i lose anything on the PS3 partitioned side (demos, videos, etc)?

    also what is the best "other os" for the PS3? YLD? Ubuntu? Kubuntu?
    any help would be great...
