Ive followed the instructions to the letter on updateing the firmware to this Arno kryptview box,using a null modem lead but each time its says file not requested or something similar.Also followed instructions tha Scouser put up but no luck...any suggestions? Firmware is 04042008 Thanks for any help
i am have same problem lost all scrambled channels.going to check first to make sure i have set everthing up right as it must be a null modem cable having probs gettin one as box male plug and computer female.also most of the usb ones are usb to male when the back of the box is male to.tried with the one i have got same prob as you but think it cable have you tried setting the com port on your computer in the device manager to com port 1 and check the settings there is a page on on this site with them on.i think its the cable in my case but i tried for four hours on and of yesterday.i thought as someone has put the new cable provders codes up on this site i could input them manually as the box works fine with the origanal firmware on it but the way it tells you i can only think its for the starview box and it has a secret menu but the arnet dont shame.ill let you know if i have any joy
