I got a slim PS3 that has custom firmware 3.41 installed. It requires a dongle to play backups. I would like to update the custom firmware to the latest one available so that I wont need to use the dongle anymore, but I dont know how to do it, and I havent been able to find a proper tutorial. I will be playing backups from the internal hard drive.
    Thanks in advance

    Thank you
The first step in the guide says that you need to get to 3.55 firmware. Just to clarify, does that mean I will have to update to the official 3.55 firmware before installing the CFW? Even if the PS3 is already hacked? I want to make sure it wont brick or something when I update from a custom firmware to the official firmware.
