updating eurovox software

    Yowsie Lads,

    I am currently in the process of updating the eurovox box and have all the correct cables connected correctly. The only problem is that after connecting them up i get the following response and cant do any more wit it... Anyone able to help


    'waiting for the response of your receiver'

    And you are totally sure you have a null modem cable?

    Unplug the box from the mains and plug it back in again when that message comes up.

    Yes im positive i have a null modem cable and der is no problem wit connections, also i have tried turning the machine a few times and startin again but still get the following message 'waiting for the response of your receiver'
    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again

    Are you using a null modem cable or a null moden cable in conjunction with a usb to serial adapter?if its the latter try and update the box on a mates pc with a serial port.
