    Hiya

for obvious reasons i want to get my starview updated to autorolling codes!! i have downloaded GTRom v4 and CryptStar-v14-Genuine and will pick up a null cable modem from maplin tomorrow.

i just want to know before i go out and do all this whether ive got a clone or not because i dont want a big fancy looking brick in the living room.

its a first generation starview 1, has along the top 7x25 vents, if looking from the front the its scarts on the back are on my right hand side and its soft ware is:

    STAR VIEW
    API ver: 2.55e_E
    Boot ver: 7.0
    22. July. 2006

    Thanks a million

better to be safe than sorry u can put clonesafe on both genuines and clones as v.255 is a very old vers.if u put genuine update on a clone box u will get a doorstop.
