After downgrading from noobz 3.50 downgrader they said that you can't update to 3.30+ if you have a TA-082+ motherboard, Is this try with OE firmware. I am at 3.03oe-c at the moment and have a wifi bug and need to upgrade to fix it. plz could people post who have been able to update to 3.30oe+ from noobz 3.50 downgrader and have a TA-082+ motherboard.
    Thx

You can upgrade custom firmwares just fine...That downgrader you used just wont allow you to use official sony firmware greater than 3.30 anymore..It does not apply to custom firmware...So basically if you decided to go back to having official sony firmware for whatever reason, you just wouldn't be able to update past 3.30 thats all...

Ok i did every thing the same as when i updated to 3.03oe-c. put the 1.50 and 3.40 updater named 1.50.PBP and 3.40.PBP into the oeupdmaker dir. i the run it and when it came to unpacking the 3.40 updater it said cannot open. what should i do to make this work! If i can't update to 3.40OE-a does 3.30oe have a recovery mode and will it fix any wifi bugs?

well if you named them 1.50.pbp and 3.40.pbp it wont work you ahve to take the period out of the 1.50 and the 3.40

my best advice is to just retry. im not sure y it wont let you take out the dxar file
