updating ur drive

    so are they making firmwire that allows u too make a dvd burner be able to burn multi layer?....like the memorex dual x format?

    Not yet, The Memorex Dual X1 is actually a Pioneer 106D. To use Pioneer firmware if it becomes available you need to flash the Memorex to read as a true Pioneer drive first. I'm still waiting on that DL firmware. It may never happen.

    yea i kno its a pioneer, but im not gonna re flash it unless pioneer has a firmwire update for dvd9

    I did mine a while back, I got tired of the 2x rip speed.

    i dont use that drive to rip dvd's or anything, i have another drive
