Updating video drivers

    I'm trying to update my video drivers.
    So I do to the Nvidia website and download the files.
    Its an application so I run that and it says the driver is updated.
    If I go to the device manager and look at the installed driver it indicates that I'm using a driver provided by Microsoft.

    My question is, is my video card updated or not?

    I'm having problems with a game and tech help told me to update my video driver.

    run dxdiag to see the driver version in video section on right side
