Upgrade Dell Latitude D531 Video Card?

    * Graphics: Integrated ATI x1270
    * Display: 15.4” WXGA+ “TrueLife” (250 nits) (14.1" screen is also an option)
    * Battery: 9-Cell (85 WHr)
    * Adapter: 65W power supply
    * Wireless Card: Dell wireless 1505 draft-N card
    * Optical Drive: Optiarc 8x DVDRW AD-5540A
    * Ports: Four USB 2.0, one Firewire, headphone out, microphone in, s-video, modem, ethernet, VGA, serial port, PCMCIA slot

    I know its Integrated which means it is built-in, or part of the motherboard. It cannot be removed, but is there any alternative which means not buying a new Labtop?

    Unless you spent a whole lot more money for a laptop with upgradeable video, the video that you bought is the video that you have for the life of the laptop.

    The D531 is a "...business notebook for the price conscious..."

    Read - low performance video and non-upgradeable.

    Laptops in general are not designed for upgrading. It may be possible, but it really wouldnt be worth the trouble.
