My laptop has a Core 2 Duo T5300 (1.73ghz, 2meg cache, 533mhz fsb) cpu, is there any point in upgrading it to a Core 2 Duo T7200 (2ghz, 4meg cache, 677 mhz fsb). I DO NOT game on my laptop because it has the crappy Intel GMA 950 GPU.
So does it help in anything else?
Is there any point in upgrading?
Also keep in mind, that I can get the T7200 for $145 (new) vs. the $300 regular price.

You'd see a bit of a performance boost, but it's probably going to be in the 25-30% ballpark. IMO that isn't worth the hassle, let alone the money.
