Your S3 Trio64V2 i think that is a PCI card, is it?

The Trident Video Accelerator Blade 3D, did that loop through you S3 Trio card, you may as well pull that out....

You can get nVidia graphics cards in PCI, you could go for the FX range like a 256Mb FX5500 PCI?

Has the board got an AGP slot?

Ok in the book it says:

    One AGP slot
    - AGP 66MHz 3.3v/1.5v for 2x/4x device support.

    I dont understand that??

And we dont want to spend to much since its a old comp. ( We're doing it up as we go along.im saving up for a new hard drive as it needs it bad)

Ok its got an AGP slot, Pick up a cheap G-Force2 or somthing... or new FX5500 256Mb AGP cards are cheapish any way!

    Sorry...
Usually you would have a cable that connects from your normal graphics card into an Accelerator card, then your monitor would plug into your Accelerator card to boost the graphics... is that what that is or was?
Or was that the onboard graphics that does not work now....

depends on what you intend to use the computer for & budget. the accelerator card is more for the older pci cards as they ran at 33mhz whereas an agp was 2 times plus that of pci cards so don't need accelerator cards.

is $10 to $16 higher than what i can get but i don't know what the difference is between our dollars. should work i think as you say your board can do 2x/4x & this card is 4x/8x.
