upgrade hdd with a softmod

    can i upgrade my hdd with a softmod? or do i need a modchip.what is the largest hdd i can put in my xbox

    I have a 300gig hard drive insatlled with a softmod. Here is a link that i followed that helped me insatll my bigger hard drive. worked perfect.

    Not sure about what's the bigest but have an XECUTER 3 CE Modded box with a 400GB Hitachi HDD. I had issues at first but once I flashed my box with the latest BIOS, I was fine.
