ok . lord of the rings battle for middle-earth. great game. but my laptop is almost two years old and the graphix card in it is well, starting to show its age. i was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the graphix card so i dont have to go out and buy a new laptop. i'm using a compaq m2000 and i got it in february of 2005. 1.8 ghz intel pentium 4 processor, 1 gb memory, 80 gb hard drive, . it was a good deal for $1600. but if i'm going to upgrade to another laptop, i'll end up spending close to $6k. so forking out about 200 dollars is a hellova lot cheaper

    this was copied from http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000618.htm#4

"Some new high performance laptop and portable computer manufacturers are coming out with models that enable users to upgrade the video card or video accelerator it came shipped with. Unless your laptop or portable computer is one of these types of laptops or portable computers you will not be able to upgrade your video card.

If you are unsure if your laptop or portable computer is this type of computer it is recommended you contact the laptop manufacturer for additional information. "
