    Hi all,

Quick question - I currently have the iPod photo and this is synchronised with iTunes 7 on my PC.

Have ordered a new iPod video from the Apple Store. How easy will it be to synchronise the new iPod with my existing iTunes library? Will I still have to install the software that comes with the new iPod, or will this cause any conflict issues? Are there any other problems I should look out for, or is it a fairly easy process?

    Thanks.

    Hey GregM1873,

First off welcome to the forums. But to answer your question, If you purchased a video iPod and your version of iTunes includes video support you should be good to go.

You will not have to install any of the software they give you on the CD, it is just iTunes and the most current iPod Updater, which you already have. Both iPods will run just as if it were the only one, the only time you run into any trouble is if your music library is larger then the iPod's capacity, forcing you to manage your music in a different manner. If that ends up being the case iTunes flashes you a warning message asking what you would like to do. It should all go smoothly for you though. If you have any problems, AfterDawn is a great place to get it.
