Upgrading PSP slim

    I have a psp slim that i hacked using a datel battery tool and a magic memory stick. It is still at 3.71 M33-2 cfw

    what would be the best way to update and what firmware is the most current stable version to use?

    install dc8 and upgrade to 5.00m33-6

    then if you want, you can upgrade to the newer 5.50GEN-d2 firmware. You may have to do several steps/upgrades to get to gen-d2.

    Main difference between the 2 is that m33 still uses the 1.50 kernel and the new GEN firmware plays all new ISOs without patching.
