upgrading/rebuilding old laptop

    hi all, its been a while since i posted anything but im stuck on something now, i have a very old laptop (2003/4) and i have 2 cpus that work on it, first i have an intel celeron 2.6ghz and a intel pentium 4 2.4ghz, i want to know which is faster for it though, i think the pentium 4 has a higher clock speed though. these are all the specs i could pull out of that board:
    Motherboard
    Bus Speed533 MHz
    ChipsetIntel 852GM

    EDIT: the celeron: bus speed, 100 fsb 399, x26 multiplier
    the pentium: bus speed, 133 fsb 532, x18 multiplier

    the p4 is better tho slower in ghz compared to celeron. the p4 has more ram cache then the celeron.

    Does the motherboard have a model number??? You could get a better answer with just that information.

    dailun, he has a laptop not a tower but make & model# of laptop might come in handy.

    its a toshiba satellite a45-s150, i bought it on ebay, i had the a45-s120 one, that one had the celeron, i just want to know which will be faster, i know that just cause there more ghz, it doesnt mean its faster
