OK so I've heard and I've seen and I've read. I wanted to upgrade my hd but then I needed the eeprom. I thought I had already backed up the eeprom from my hard drive but when I looked there it didn't show up! anybody have this problem?
When people say back it up, they mean copy it off the xbox to your PC and then maybe even on a floppy. Why floppy? Because of programs like xboxhdm that will only read the EEPROM from a floppy since it's not Windows based. Here's a tutorial for the process. http://www.teammodders.com/viewtopic.php?t=87
