upgrading to cobra 1.6 with viper gc

    can the viper gc be upgrade to 1.6? i heard someone said that it can't be upgrade to 1.6, only the viper extreme can, is this true?if it can, i'm thinking of copying the cobra 1.6 to a dvd-r and install it from there. But first what do i need to do, do i have to do something first like turning off something? or just put the disc in and go to disc browser?
