I record my piano music on a Sony NetMD and want to transfer it to my computer. Am I correct that this is not possible with OpenMG Jukebox software? If so, does anyone know a way I can do this? I want to be able to hear my music, but I can't use the headphones because of my hearing aids. Many thanks.
There is no way to digitally upload using a sony minidisc and the sonicstage or whatever there stupid software is called. The only way to record it into your pc is to dub it back in analoge using a 1/8 inch minijack audio cable that is 1/8th mini on both ends. (1/8th mini is the standard size of the headphone jack on the md player). Anyway, depending on you sound card it may sound decent or it may sound like crap, if it sounds like crap, visit a site called check this product out, http://www.minidiscaccess.com/item.html?PRID=1371035 , it allows you to diditally upload md recordings, using the supplied optical cables and the optical usb port. Its made for minidisc players.
